COVID-19 Update

Published Friday, March 13, 2020 12:00 pm

The health and safety of our members, guests, and staff are an upmost priority and we have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely. The Government of Alberta (GOA) has been providing updates on a regular basis as it seems the situation is changing by the hour now. We are following the lead of government and adopting practices that will help prevent the spread of the virus. At the current moment the GOA has risk level as “low”, but we are treating this situation very seriously.

As you are aware, we have mailed membership fee invoices to our members due April 1, 2020. First off, thank you to all of our members who have paid to date, and who plan to do so in the near future. At this time the office remains open and we are accepting payments via debit, cash and cheque. As per the GOA guidelines, we are requesting certain individuals refrain from coming to the office to pay fees, or use any part of the facility. These individuals include anyone who has:

  • Flu like symptoms, such as cough or fever.
  • Had any contact with someone who had flu like symptoms.
  • Traveled outside of Canada recently.

We are also accepting online payments via credit card, and via Telepay. We are encouraging our members pay either one of these methods. Please visit our website at, and click on the “Pay Fees” tab at the top of the page for additional information, or refer to the invoice mail out.

We also wanted to assure our members and guests that we will continue to employ our regular building cleaning and sanitization, as well as take extra precautions and implement additional sanitization to high traffic areas, especially where hands make contact on a regular occurrence.

We know that accurate information from reputable sources plays a very important role in ensuring the safety of everyone. For any additional information we recommend our members visit the following resources online:

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide updates as needed. Thank you for your patience and understanding
